App Store games used to be all about motion controllers, but they’ve slowly shifted to more accurate control schemes (though not always with great success). The upcoming Don’t Drop Meo is all about motion controls, and I’m curious to see whether the developers will nail it or whether you’ll end up diving to your death one too many times. This casual action game has you jumping on colorful tiles that disappear as you hit them. Your goal is to make all the tiles disappear, but as you can imagine, the more tiles disappear, the trickier it is not to fall.
There will be obstacles and monsters to avoid, but there are also power-ups you can grab. The game will come with 24 levels (along with some bonus levels), and it will cost $0.99 with no IAPs or ads. The game is releasing worldwide July 20th, and it remains to be seen whether the controls will make this one a hit or not.
