Minecraft: Story Mode (Free) Season 2 Episode 1 premieres July 11th, but if you are one of the impatient ones, you can watch the first episode July 9th. Specifically, Telltale will be doing a live Crowd Play of Episode 1 at RTX Austin, and even if you aren’t able to make it in person, you’ll still be able to watch it on Twitch. If you don’t know what Crowd Play, think of it as playing the game with everyone around you shouting what choice to make. I’m hoping the Crowd Play option comes to the mobile version of the game as well so we can play it on our Twitch channel. The whole thing should be fun, and you get to see the episode in action before anyone else.

We also got a bit more info about the new season, like (spoilers) how we’ll be jumping ahead a few years to see a more mature Jesse being the leader of the town and struggling to balance work and adventures (don’t we all). The rest of the gang each has their own responsibilities as well, all but Petra that is. I’m actually excited to play the new season since I love everything Minecraft and enjoy (most) of Telltale’s games. Hopefully this will be a good one.
