Hearthstone‘s (Free) Ben Brode just announced some great card pack changes that will help you build a strong collection easier. Starting from the next expansion (but applying to all card packs in the game), when you open a pack that includes a Legendary, it will never be one that you already own; instead, it will be a a different Legendary card from the same set. What that means is you can go ahead and craft a Legendary without worrying that you might be unlucky enough to get that same Legendary in your next pack. Additionally, you will never get more than two copies of a common, rare, or epic card in one pack. Those two changes should help players build a strong collection faster and with less money, which is a great thing.
Beginning with the release of the next expansion, you are also guaranteed to get a Legendary within the first 10 packs of a new set, which again should help players build better decks. Finally, there’s a special limited time promotion for Un’Goro starting in the next few days, where the price stays the same but you get more packs. For instance, buying 7 packs will actually get you 9 packs, 15 packs will get you 20, and so on. What do you think of all these changes? Sound off in the comments below.
