As we wrote about a few days ago, Night School Studio, of Oxenfree and Mr. Robot fame, were working on a The Mummy tie-in game, and now that game is out worldwide. If you haven’t been reading about The Mummy, you might not know that it’s supposed to launch the Dark Universe, Universal Pictures’ attempt at creating a series of films that will revive the studio’s classic monster characters for a new generation. The Mummy Dark Universe Stories (Free) is a free episodic series where you take the role of The Mummy protagonist, Nick Morton (played by Tom Cruise), and embark on a narrative game with multiple choices and dynamic comic-book style illustrations.

I haven’t played the game yet, but I’ve really enjoy Night School Studio’s previous work, so I’m hoping this is a fun game as well. More episodes will be added on a regular basis, and you can grab the game now for free on Android and iOS.
