The Apple WWDC 2017 Keynote is Starting, Let’s Watch the Live Stream Together!

It’s once again that time of year for Apple’s Worldwide Developer’s Conference, and this year there’s one major change already: The event is not taking place at the Moscone Center in San Francisco. Nope, for 2017 Apple has taken their event even closer to their home in Cupertino and instead it will be held in the McEnery Convention Center in San Jose. It’s actually a homecoming of sorts as from 1988 until 2003 WWDC was held in that same convention center. I’m curious to see if there’s more significance to this “homecoming" as to what Apple plans on announcing, or if it’s simply makes logistical sense to have the event closer to their headquarters to make it easier for Apple engineers to be there. Aside from all that, though, it’s pretty certain we’ll get all the typical stuff like new iOS 11 details, possibly new macOS details, a rumored MacBook Pro refresh, and of course the biggest rumor of them all some form of Siri Speaker to compete with the Amazon Echoes and Google Homes of the world.

If you’d like to watch the Apple Keynote live, they’ll be streaming it on the Apple website and if you click on this link you’ll be able to watch it right in your Safari browser on both a Mac or iOS device. If you’re semi-old-school and prefer the live blogging format of the event, MacRumors will be doing a live blog of the keynote so head on over to that if you’d like to follow along with the discussion. Or, if you want to just stick around here, we’ve made a tradition out of chatting about the announcements in the comments section below, so if you’re super happy or super mad or anything in between about whatever Apple announces today, then let your voice be heard in the comments below! If there’s any major iOS gaming-related stuff announced, we’ll split those off into separate stories, otherwise enjoy the biggest Apple event of the year that’s not a new iPhone announcement!
