To the Moon ($4.99) is one of those games that you always hear people talking about that, for one reason or another, I really never got around to playing. Whether it’s an accurate classification or not, To the Moon occupies the same mental category for me as That Dragon, Cancer ($4.99) in that I feel like I need to be in the right headspace to enjoy it. Heck, here’s the one-line description from Steam: “A story-driven experience about two doctors traversing backwards through a dying man’s memories to artificially fulfill his last wish." See what I mean?
Heavy content notwithstanding, the game has seem overwhelmingly positive reviews on Steam. It has a near-flawless average with the few negative reactions hinging on the length of the game, as the whole thing can be completed inside of about 3ish hours- Maybe less depending on how quickly you read.
Games like these releasing on mobile is always awesome because if you can play it on your phone, you’ve really got no excuse anymore to not play it. So, I suppose I’ll need to get on it! If you need some additional convincing, check out the game’s thread in our forums.
