Mike Burns, the developer of Kid Tripp ($0.99), has announced that the game’s sequel, Miles and Kilo, has a release date, May 11, 2017. Check out the new trailer for the game, which shows off a bunch of the new stuff in the game. It also shows off how Kilo is the greatest plane-flying animal since Tails flew that plane in Sonic 2 (Free).
Not only is Miles and Kilo using a much more advanced visual style than the chunky pixels of the original game, there’s a lot more to do, too. New actions that pop up in context of what you’re doing in the level, such as air-dashes, slides, and good ol’ fruit-tossing, are available by tapping on the right side of the screen. Tapping on the left side jumps, with longer taps giving you a higher jump. There’s 36 levels, a chiptune soundtrack, and loads of challenge to be had from this one when it releases on May 11th.
