In January of 2015, developer Neutronized released Drop Wizard ($2.99), a single-screen platformer that was an homage to classics like Bubble Bobble but one with some interesting mechanics that made it almost more of a puzzler than an action game. We enjoyed it a lot in our review from then, and today we are very happy to see that there’s a sequel of sorts in the works, and that Neutronized will be teaming up with Nitrome to bring the game to the world. Earlier today Nitrome teased this gif on Twitter of the forthcoming Drop Wizard Tower.

No further details were given other than that Drop Wizard Tower is coming soon and it will be hitting both iOS and Android. Previously, Neutronized have brought us such gems as Lost Yeti ($2.99), which they self-published, as well as Roar Rampage ($0.99) and the fantastic Super Cat Tales (Free) which were collaborations with FDG Entertainment. Basically, I’m psyched for anything they do and am really looking forward to Drop Wizard Tower whenever it arrives!
