If you were playing Hearthstone (Free) back in the summer of 2015, then you probably already know how The Masked Ball Tavern Brawl plays out. If you haven’t played this brawl in the past, get ready for an RNG-fest because every time a minion dies, another one pops in its place with a mana cost of two less than the original minion. Think of it as a Deathrattle “summon minion that costs two less." Even though there’s plenty of RNG when it comes to what minions you get, you still get to make your own deck, so there’s some control over what cost minions you’ll be getting when your minions die.
As you would expect, you want to get expensive minions on the board as fast as possible to take advantage of the deathrattle because a 2-mana minion won’t get you much to work with after it dies. Ramp Druid is one of the best decks for this Brawl, but don’t let that hold you back from having fun with other decks.
