Gamebra.in just released Pocus ($0.99) recently, but the studio is back with another neat puzzler coming in April called Cut. The game gives you a figure created with a single line, and starting from an endpoint, you have to cut it in such a way that all the pieces are of equal length. Each puzzle has a prerequisite number of cuts to make, so you have to analyze the shape, and see how the cuts play out. You’re graded on a similarity score between the different segments, so getting everything as close as possible is ideal.
The fact that you’re manipulating the end of the shape means that there’s a physical performance aspect, not just figuring out where the cuts need to be made. Moving and cutting can also deform the shapes, which grow more elaborate over time. It’s another simple premise, but complex execution game from Gamebra.in, and it should prove to be rather bedeviling like the rest of the studio’s lineup. Cut. is expected to hit in April.
