Warm Heart Studio has posted information in our forums on their upcoming project called Fairyland Story, and I think I’m in love with it. The premise behind it is heartwarming: Dorothy, who is suffering from an illness and confined to a wheelchair, dreams of going on a true adventure. One day a fairy appears and makes that dream come true by taking her on adventures by flying through a number of surreal environments that are inspired by motion graphic art. The developers call Fairyland Story a “beautiful world of geometric kaleidoscope" and it looks absolutely stunning in motion.
Fairyland Story promises more than 50 hand-crafted levels spread across 7 different chapters, and as you can see in the trailer you’ll also be able to unlock additional playable characters beyond Dorothy. While the game is close to complete, Warm Heart Studio is still keen on getting some people to beta test the game and offer up some feedback ahead of its release, so if you’re interested in getting your hands on this one early check out the forum thread for info on how to do that. Otherwise we’ll keep an eye on this and let you know when this visually impressive game launches.
