I’m always a fan of games that help you relax while still offering enough challenge, and the upcoming Float seems to hit the right balance between relaxation and challenge. As you can see from the trailer, you’ll have to help the flower float across the levels without getting squashed, and the closer you tap to the flower, the further it will move. I like the animation and the colors of Float, and I’m pretty sure it’s the kind of game that can easily be expanded in the future, which bodes well for replayability.
Float comes with 8 stages, each with its own aesthetic and music, and will set you back $1.99 with no IAPs. The game will release March 9th and will utilize the haptic feedback of the newest phones. Check out our Upcoming Games forum thread for more on Float.
