For the past few weeks, we’ve been dazzled by the various animated gifs that developers Colin Lane and Brad Erkkila have been posting to Twitter for their upcoming iOS game Golf Zero. If this is the first you’re hearing of Golf Zero, it’s a platforming game with a golfing spin that has you running through Super Meat Boy-esque gauntlets of death with the ultimate goal of shooting a tiny ball into a tiny hole before you inevitably bite the big one. It looks absolutely fantastic so far, and if animated gifs just aren’t getting the job done for you, today the developers have released the first official trailer for Golf Zero which you can check out below.
I’ve been incredibly excited for Golf Zero since my first glimpse of it, and I’m anxious to get my hands on the final product so the game’s brutal levels can kick the snot out of me. Thankfully the punishment doesn’t seem too far off as Colin Lane mentions on Twitter that the team is hoping to release the game in the last week of February.
