Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes (Free) has been very popular and has made the most money of any other Star Wars game on iOS, so the frequent updates shouldn’t be surprising. Now in addition to getting to play with all the Star Wars characters, you can play with all those starships and capital ships just like many did as kids. The new update has added famous ships like the Millennium Falcon, the Tie-Fighter, and the X-Wing to the game. You can even play with Ashoka’s Jedi starfighter, so this update isn’t only for fans of the movies. The update lets you call in reinforcements during ship battles, build your own Capital Ship, including those humongous Star Destroyers, and battle opponents in the Fleet Arena with ship blueprints on the line.
EA seems to have found a good balance between fan service, monetization, and fun gameplay because Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes continues to be very popular and, of course, continues making a lot of money for EA. The update is live now, so enjoy those ships.

I'm brand new to Playstation and not yet bored with single-player. I'm also somewhat resistant to paying a subscription on top of my purchases. Even so, I'm sure multiplayer is in my future! BattleZone in particular.
The free games are usually worth the subscription, I have 114 games on my Xbox One and I'd say 3/4's of them are from the Games With Gold program (and Backwards Compatibility).
Sounds good! Sadly, I'm told that PS Plus free games go away if you don't maintain your subscription forever.
All your movies and tv episodes go away when you cancel your Netflix or Hulu subscription, too. That's kind of the basic idea behind a subscription.
Not necessarily, all Xbox 360 GwG games are yours to keep, regardless of XBL subscription status. Although XB1 games do get removed when your subscription lapses there is a precedent set for this kind of thing (I would class Games the same as films or TV's TBH and should be judged differently). Hope this helps.
Alas that is true, however these days you need PS Plus just to play online so might as well get a bonus out of it? Or buy an XB1 where you'll get at least 2 games a month to keep forever :-).
The free ones do "go away" if you stop paying but they come back if you get PS+ again HOWWEVER game on sale with PS+, so games that were $5 on sale for $1 due to PS+ you get to keep forever no matter what. These are usually advertised even if you don't have PS+ so keep an eye out for a good time to start if a game you want is on sale.
Good thought! I'm mainly in it for the VR for now anyway.
I find it best to think of it as a rental service. And a bloody great rental service where you don't have to return the items as long as you remain.
I've been a PS Plus subscriber since day 1, paid the equivalent on ONE game a year & here I am downloading 4/5 games a month on my PS4 & PS4 yet still have access to the very first games I got through the service.
There's so many games, I run out of HD space all the time (500gb in each machine) & have more games than I can play. Cracking service.
*PS3 & PS4. But you probably guessed.
