Back in June we checked out the teaser trailer for Slime-Ball-Istic Mr. Missile, an upcoming game from Lacuna King that’s an homage to arcade classic Missile Command but with lovely pixel graphics and environments based on real-world locations. Oh, and instead of defending against incoming missile attacks, you’re defending against an invasion of slime creatures, so there’s that too. Today Lacuna King has released a new full length trailer for Mr. Missile which is looking even better than the first time we saw it in June.
While Lacuna King had originally planned on releasing Mr. Missile in Q3 of this year, that unfortunately isn’t going to happen as the game needs a wee bit more time in the oven before it’s done. However, according to what they posted in our forums they’re currently doing a closed beta test of the game and are expecting to do a soft-launch on Android in the next few weeks and based on how all that goes they hope to launch globally on both Android and iOS sometime soon after. We’ll let you know when it looks like Slime-Ball-Istic Mr. Missile will be officially available.
