Back in February Chillingo launched a slick new rally racing game exclusively for the Apple TV called Go Rally, and after about 10 months of living exclusively on Apple’s set-top box the game is finally making its way over to its mobile device siblings. While the initial Apple TV version of Go Rally featured a collection of 100 tracks across its campaign, the jump over to mobile will include a new track-creating feature where you can use the touchscreen of your device to draw out tracks and place environmental objects. While the actual creation portion will be limited to touchscreen devices, tracks that you’ve made can be synced to the Apple TV version and played on the big screen when you’re finished.
Aside from that first month or so of getting my fourth generation Apple TV last fall, I haven’t really played very many games on the machine since. Not that I wouldn’t like to or that there aren’t a ton of great experiences available, but I have more than enough games on my iPhone that I’m always trying to find the time to play. So I get pretty excited when previous Apple TV exclusives make their way over to the iOS devices as I’m much more likely to play them there. Look for Go Rally on the iOS App Store next week.
