Strategy gamers (who also own iPads) have been waiting with bated breath for the iPad release of 2004 hit PC strategy title Rome: Total War ever since it was first announced back in August. Well, wait no more! Or, I should say, wait a few days and then wait no more! Because Feral Interactive has announced that Rome: Total War is locked and loaded for release this Thursday, November 10th. The price will be a very reasonable $9.99 and as far as device requirements go, Feral states that the game “requires a first generation iPad Air or newer, an iPad mini 2 or newer, or any iPad Pro. It will also require just under 4GB of free space to install." Here’s a few minutes of Feral Interactive themselves playing Rome: Total War on an iPad and discussing how it all works.
In addition to the Let’s Play video above, there was also a video released showcasing how the battlefield controls will work on the touchscreen. If you’re an eager beaver and have already watched all the videos to death, well, all I can say is be patient for just a few more days until Rome: Total War releases this Thursday, and if you want to let out some of that pent up energy be sure to drop by the forum thread and take part in the discussion.
