Guide a Single Dot through Complex Levels in ‘ZenDots 2: One Dot’s Journey’, Now Available

TouchArcade Rating:

In mid-October we learned about the newest game from Little White Bear Studios, a sequel to their well-received spin on the brick-breaking formula ZenDots. The sequel was quite a different beast though, and its subtitle, One Dot’s Journey, kind of said it all. Here you would be playing as a single dot navigating through complex mazes of obstacles as you attempted to make your way around and break every brick on the screen. See? It’s still a brick-breaker at heart! Due to Apple taking an unusually long time approving it, it missed all the release hullabaloo from yesterday but, much like its dot protagonist, this morning ZenDots 2: One Dot’s Journey (Free) pushed through all the obstacles and finally made its way to the App Store.

Despite being quite different from its predecessor, ZenDots 2: One Dot’s Journey seems like an entertaining ride. Little White Bear has proven over the years they are capable of making both challenging and engaging experiences with a clean aesthetic and soothing tunes. From my brief time with ZenDots 2 so far this remains true. It’s free, so no reason not to check it out and give your own impressions on the game in the forum discussion.

Quote from the article: 'With that said, considering the massive amount of continual support, as well as the fact that every game Blizzard currently works on is just as popular and fun to play as ever, I have no problem with giving them a pass for this year on the major announcements.'

I am glad the writer is a huge Blizzard fanboy and has fun with their games. I play some .Blizzard games too and enjoy them... but this statement is literally, factually, false. A quick peek at any of the metrics sights show that many of the games have lost players/subscribers... Even with the recent expansion WoW users are still down.. Diablo is down a lot, even Hearthstone and Overwatch are down from their high points.

A few of their games are solid, the company is strong through diversification, but the games are very literally not as fun as ever and the writer is 'giving them a pass' either because he is trying not to talk bad about a video game company he personally is biased about.

Oh, shut the fuck up, please. No game ("literally" none) maintains a consistent or growing fan base from their high point. High point usually being the first couple weeks (sometimes days) after release. Hype dies and numbers level out. Not just for Blizzard games, but ALL games.

"the games are very literally not as fun as ever"

Maybe I should have re-read this before replying. You're either a troll or retarded. Either way, my condolences....

Ok, so you both agree, and have nuances to explain, maybe just be a little nicer about it please.

Blizzard just shipped Overwatch this year in 2016, HoTS in 2015, and Hearthstone in 2014. On top of expansions. Everything is super high quality. They are on fire. This is their peak. I suspect their completely new game pipeline is spent and I can't blame them. BlizzCon 2016 announcements were uninteresting, but their recent releases are amazing.
