Dexter was one of my favorite shows, and I still think it had the best opening credits sequence. If you want to slice and dice as well as Dexter, you can check out the new game called Dexter Slice ($3.99), just in time for the ten-year anniversary. As you can see from the trailer below, Dexter Slice is a puzzle game that’s all about dexterity. You’ll have to show how adept you are in the use of multiple knives and blades (because it would be a shame if you used the wrong blade to sever a leg from a torso). The game will ask you to use quite a few fingers at the same time as you slide blades away to reveal buttons that must be quickly tapped before the blades slide back into place. There are moments when you’ll need all 10 fingers on screen at once.
Since you’re playing as Dexter, you’ll constantly have Dexter’s Dad’s voice (voiced by the actual actor, James Remar) guiding you through your slicing and dicing. And in the near future, Michael C. Hall, Dexter himself, will also be lending his voice to the game. Dexter Slice will normally cost $3.99, but it’s on sale for $2.99 in celebration of Halloween.
