If you want to get your mobile farming on, you should keep an eye out for the upcoming game Blocky Farm, a game that has just unveiled its new visual style the developers have been working on for some time. Blocky Farm‘s developers have been very open about the game’s development process in our Upcoming Games forum thread, and so far I like what I’m seeing. The game is a voxel mobile farm with quite a few mechanics going on like an animal feeding and healing system, wearable animal gadgets that make your animals happier, tractor driving, and all kinds of other features that sound like they’ll make your farm quite a fun place to hang out at. And it will, of course, remind you of Harvest Moon if you’ve played those games.

As I said earlier, the developers have been constantly asking for feedback from our community and implementing many of the community’s suggestions, so it’s definitely worth checking out the game’s forum thread. Today, the developers posted the new look for the game, and it looks quite charming and lively and, of course, still blocky. The game is scheduled for release in Q1 2017, although that might change.
