Nitrome is working on a sequel to Silly Sausage in Meat Land (Free), their fun…puzzle-dog-stretcher? It’s a game that still evades traditional genre categorization, but it lets you play as a stretchy dog that can sniff its own butt. But we have a bit of time to figure out how to classify this, because Nitrome is making a sequel: Silly Sausage: Doggy Dessert.

This will have you stretching to make your way through a land full of cake. Our silly sausage dog friend is dreaming about cake, and you’ll have to deal with cake flying everywhere, along with some new hazards. While the core gameplay should be familiar but iterated upon, the game will feature a few new twists: bonus side room challenges and even a boss fight will factor into this one. Silly Sausage: Doggy Dessert is in development now, keep an eye out for it whenever it’s done.
