Here’s a game that makes the phrase “going medieval" on people actually appropriate. My Majesty is an upcoming medieval ruler simulator that looks interesting. While not going for the Tinder-like gameplay of Reigns ($2.99), My Majesty is also all about balancing, but in this case you are balancing between six factions, the commoners, the nobility, the priesthood, the thinkers, the army, and the outlaws. Judging from the trailer, you’ll have to decide who to receive and then react to various events that pop out.
The visuals look fun, and I like the short animations that bring the game to life and make it more than just a collection of menus and yes/no answers. The game releases September 27th, and if you want to contact the developers and share your opinion (or go medieval on them), check our forum thread.
