Most driving games are all about winning; you start from point A and try to be the first to reach point B. Fun as that might be (and it usually is), there’s more to driving than just going going as fast as possible down a set path. Driving itself is an experience, and exploration, and when done at the right pace and in the right environment, perhaps even a meditative experience. Pure Car Driving Simulator is hoping to make driving and exploring fun without the constant pressure to rush around. The game comes with 8 different cars – and more to come – and a city with more than 60 miles that you can explore at your leisure. The city also has plenty of secret areas to discover, so there will be an aim to the exploration for those who prefer having a reason to drive.
You can explore the city, refueling your car when you need to, paint your car, and play various minigames hidden around the city. The game is F2P, so in order to make more money to unlock the cars, you can play those minigames, do a parking test (if it’s parallel parking, I’m sure most players will repeatedly fail), and also participate in a few racing events (which defeats the purpose of a game about exploration in my opinion). The game is already out on Android and will be coming to iOS soon.
