The idea behind the TouchArcade Game of the Week is that every Friday afternoon we post the one game that came out this week that we think is worth giving a special nod to. Now, before anyone goes over-thinking this, it doesn’t necessarily mean our Game of the Week pick is the highest scoring game in a review, the game with the best graphics, or really any other quantifiable “best" thing. Instead, it’s more just us picking out the single game out of the week’s releases that we think is the most noteworthy, surprising, interesting, or really any other hard to describe quality that makes it worth having if you were just going to pick up one.
These picks might be controversial, and that’s OK. If you disagree with what we’ve chosen, let’s try to use the comments of these articles to have conversations about what game is your game of the week and why.

Super Stickman Golf 3
I’m not even sure I need to explain what Super Stickman Golf (and Flappy Golf, for that matter) even is, as by this point the series is an institution on mobile. But, just in case: Super Stickman Golf is a 2D sideview golf game where your goal is to choose the angle and power of each shot in order to get your ball in the hole in as few shots as possible across a number of wacky courses. Over the years, the wackiness has only intensified with special ball types, hats, and of course one of the most well-implemented suites of multiplayer modes in any game on mobile. Super Stickman Golf is life, and this week the latest iteration in the series Super Stickman Golf 3 (Free) arrived.
It’s not like the apple has fallen too far from the tree with Super Stickman Golf 3. Everything you loved about the previous entry in the series made its way to this sequel, with plenty of great new stuff in tow. 20 new courses plus the ability to download new courses, a major new change where you can add spin to your ball after striking it, and an entirely new card system which allows you to unlock cards that can alter the gameplay. In short, this is the biggest and best version of an all-time mobile classic, and I can very easily see myself wasting hours upon hours with this one for literally years to come.
There were a lot of great games released this week, as there are every week, and it’s always tough to pick just one for our Game of the Week award. But as I said before, Super Stickman Golf is LIFE and this latest release earns every bit of our Game of the Week recommendation.
