Spunge Games’ Faily Brakes (Free) has done pretty well for itself so far, netting over a million downloads in its first weekend and being a popular game amongst YouTubers and streamers. Who doesn’t want to watch a blocky dude get flung about and sent to his horrific death? The good news is that Spunge Games is providing new features to make Phil Faily’s imminent demise more varied and stylish. A new slow-motion, 360-degree camera function is in the games, so you can get that perfect shot of Phil being flung through the air.
12 new cars are in the game, including a taxi, which one could describe as crazy. And because Spunge Games is Australian, they gotta have a vehicle equipped for the post-apocalyptic times called the Max. Feel like Phil Faily should’ve installed seatbelts in it, though. Safety first! An interesting note about car design: because Phil has to get flung to his death, all the vehicles have no roofs, and that has to inform the design of all vehicles in the game.
If all this sounds peachy keen, but you only have an Android device (I respect your choice), well then do I have good news! You can now download Faily Brakes on Google Play for yourself. Huzzah!
