It’s hard to believe it’s been a year since our last National Banana Cream Pie day, but, here we are. As far as huge iOS releases are concerned this week, it sort of seems like the entire proverbial App Store runway has been cleared for Supercell’s Clash Royale (Free) to take off. I’ve never, ever seen a game launch with such strong featuring. On the US App Store right now it has Editor’s Choice, the first icon in Best New Games, and every banner below that. It has so many feature slots I can’t even capture them all in one screenshot on my MacBook Air. I highly recommend giving the game a shot, even if you’re a card carrying member of the anti-FTP militia, try the game with an open mind and you might just be surprised.
Oh, and Lost Socks: Naughty Brothers (Free) also squeaked out last night, which seems like another must-have for the week. But, anyway, here’s our normal list of games that have popped up on our forums this morning:
- Chased By The Sun (By Jonathan Rubinger)
- Clash Royale (by Supercell)
- Connect the Moon (by JaegeonLee)
- Deep Terror (by MEGOCORP)
- Diner Dynasty (by Prodigy Design Limited T/A Sidhe Interactive)
- Downhill Chapter One (by Screen Implosion)
- Hoodrip Skateboarding (by Arcticplay Studios)
- I Love My Circle – (by Joshua Burr)
- Kick the Buddyman: In Soviet Russia (by Alpinio Studio)
- LEGO DC Super Heroes Mighty Micros (by LEGO Systems, Inc)
- Lost Socks: Naughty Brothers (by Power Place Publishing LP)
- Lost Tracks (by VIA University College, Campus Horsens)
- Mental Hospital IV (by Igor Migun)
- Micro Tanks 3D (by Elebah)
- Oloro (by Mallowyn)
- Perfect Angle: Optical illusions puzzle game (Ivanovich Games)
- Road to be King (by Noodlecake Studios Inc)
- Sniper vs Zombies 3D (by Elebah)
- Timeless Wizard (by Appsolute Games LLC)
- Toilet Squad (by Touchten Pte. Ltd.)
- Train Conductor World: European Railway (by The Voxel Agents)
- Vocal Warrior (By Centaurs Technologies)
- WarPath 3000: Futuristic 3D Scroll Shooter (by Oxsionsoft)
…And I think these games are soft launched, if nothing else they look very free to play but are only available in limited regions. I could be wrong, but that’s usually how these things work:
- Dungeon Monsters RPG (by HereWeGames)
- Epic Saga (by Netmarble Games Corp.)
- Mega Warriors (by Mokak Games)
That seems to be it, but as always, stay tuned for our full roundup later this evening. Sorry for posting this a little later than usual, I’ve been working off one bar of tethered 4G this morning and it has not been fun!
