Lost Socks: Naughty Brothers is a game which originally popped up on our forums all the way back in 2013. The game is so old that all the media in the thread are now dead links, and honestly, we sort of assumed the project just died or the team got diverted to do something else. Well, today we bring glorious news that not only is the game alive and well, but it’s launching on March 2nd. Check out the trailer:
The premise of the game is you’re playing as… A pair of socks (Sure! Why not!) who have tons of weaponry for some reason and decide to go running and running through 30 different levels across different locations all culminating in a epic boss battle. The animation in the trailer is far and beyond what’s typically seen in iOS platformers, and is definitely giving me an Earthworm Jim vibe, which is a very good thing.
They’re targeting hardcore gamers, straight up saying that the gameplay might be a little difficult for casual players. There’s also no IAP, which is likely music to the ears of many people around here.
