Yesterday on Twitter, UK developer Acid Nerve unveiled their upcoming iOS project, a colorful puzzle game called Telepaint. The more than 100 puzzles in the game revolve around activating different colored portals in order to guide your little walking bucket of paint towards the exit. Oh, and while we’re on the subject? Little walking buckets of paint are adorable. The entire game is also synced up to the beat of the quirky soundtrack, kind of reminiscent of Beat Sneak Bandit ($2.99). Check out the debut trailer.
As Acid Nerve explains on their website, Telepaint began life as a prototype for a game jam similarly to their well-received dungeon crawler Titan Souls which they released on Steam last year. In fact, Telepaint’s conception predates Titan Souls by a couple of years, and Acid Nerve had always kept it in the back of their mind as they felt like it had serious potential. Now they’ve realized that potential and they feel this project has “found its perfect home on touchscreen devices." Telepaint will be $2.99 when it launches and will be iOS only for the time being. As to when it’s launching, Acid Nerve simply says it’ll be “coming soon."
