A few days ago, we wrote that Tyrone Rodriguez, founder of Nicalis and producer of The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth, teased a mobile version of the hit game. Still, we weren’t sure whether an actual port would be coming to iOS, and if yes, when would that happen. Well, our forum users have noticed that Rodriguez has tweeted a vine video that seems to show The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth being played on an iPhone 5S with a bluetooth controller. Now, I have no idea whether this is a recent video of the game running on iOS, a leftover video from when they were working on the port in the past, or even Rodriguez messing with us. So, take this with a pretty hefty grain of salt.

I do hope the game find its way on mobile because I’ve spent hours and hours playing it on the PC, and it’s easily one of my favorite games. The theme is entertaining (if you like demon children and bodily humor that is), and the gameplay great both for long or short playthroughs. Hopefully we’ll soon find out whether the game is indeed coming to mobile or whether Rodriguez is acting like Isaac’s mom and, well, messing with us. When, or if, we get more information about The Binding of Isaac: Rebirth coming to mobile devices, we’ll let you know.
