New Special Abilities and More Covered in ‘Furdemption 2’ Developer Blog Posts

TouchArcade Rating:

Spoiler alert: Raresloth’s puzzle platformer Furdemption (Free) is among our very favorite games of 2015, and to say we were excited for the previously announced sequel would be an understatement. If you’re similarly excited, then you’re in luck. Raresloth has been consistently posting updates on Furdemption 2‘s progress over on their blog all December long. The latest update concerns the new ability for main protagonist the Rabbit King to don various types of crowns, each of which will grant him special abilities. As you might expect, different situations will call for different crowns, and it’ll be up to you not to get caught wearing the wrong crown, lest you want to meet a gruesome death. Heck, who am I kidding? This game is all about gruesome deaths.

Besides the latest Furdemption 2 post dealing with the different crowns, there’s also been updates on such new features as the dynamic turret, splitting the game into two modes, the nightmare inducing shooting spiders, and more. Needless to say, if you liked the original Furdemption, it seems like a pretty reasonable conclusion that you’re going to like the sequel as well since it looks to be filled with all sorts of great new stuff. Be sure to follow the Raresloth blog our the thread in our forums to keep up to date with all the Furdemption 2 happenings.

Aaaaahh, that update trailer bring a smile on me bc I remember playing this on my iPhone 4. Can't wait to try the new levels. Two questions: does this support mfi controllers? And, what will be the price of the iAP?

I literally just deleted this off my phone yesterday. I had completely given up hope. Not ideal but at least they're doing it.

Shaun should i get the ios version or the 3ds version?dont say both because i dont have much money for both

If you have a 3DS, I'd recommend that version. I'm really good with touch controls, but Mutant Mudds is a hard, hard game even with buttons. I can't get on with the later levels using touch controls, or at least, I couldn't the last time I played iMudds.

Yes! I love this game (hard as nails is right) and even though it stopped working, I didn't delete it in the hope of it some day being updated. Thank you, Renegade Kid.

So they went an entire year with the game completely broken without acknowledging the issue and telling people they're looking for a fix? If that's the case this was very poorly handled. I don't care how small of a company you are, it takes no time to throw out a tweet saying the problem is being looked into. Regardless, I'm glad they got around to fixing it eventually.

Glad this is coming, one of my favorites I never got to finish. I wish they were more IOS centric, I'd LOVE to see xeodrifter on my phone (or better yet, Apple TV). Very talented bunch. But unfortunately, they roll their own code (as opposed to using Unity), so porting to multiple platforms (and keeping up with support) is probably pretty tough for a small group.
