Most casual games on mobile tend to be built for endless play. After all, from a developer’s standpoint, why build a stopping point for your game when you can get people to play about your game forever? The developer of 99 Rockets, Itatake, has no need for such silly ideas. Why, they’ve built a game that has a built-in ending:
99 Rockets gives you a rocket flying along a fixed path, and has you tap to launch the rocket in the direction it’s pointing, trying to hit a target in the level. Now, each level has several targets, and you have multiple rockets to use, so you have to hit the targets in the proper sequence. Good luck with that. There are 99 total targts, and 99 rockets to try and hit them with, hence the title. You can watch video ads to save progress, and can buy out of those ads and the interstitials through a $0.99 IAP. 99 Rockets releases on November 26th. There’s a forum thread for the game if you’re interested to talk about the game.
