We’ve posted about VPN services before, courtesy of TouchArcade Deals to get around region blocks on online streaming services. A VPN is super useful for a bunch of stuff, but if all you’re looking to do is stream things like Netflix and Hulu from an area of the world that isn’t on the short list of places where said services work, a smart DNS solution like a lifetime subscription to Getflix is a better solution.
Instead of re-routing all traffic like you would with a VPN, Getflix only reroutes specific location-sensitive streaming video traffic. Additionally, since you set it up through your device’s DNS settings, it both works with many more devices that might not support VPN connectivity and it’s far more “set it and forget it" than always needing to connect to a VPN. Additionally, with this deal, you only ever need to set it up once. Your subscription will be good for life, or as long as Getflix is around- Whichever is shorter!
