EA released a new trailer recently for Need for Speed: No Limits, and while that was a sign that the game would be out not long from now, I wasn’t really expecting this: the game is launching worldwide on September 30th, this Thursday. That’s a few weeks ahead of the console game, so you’ll be well in to satisfying your intense desire for speed on your iPhone or iPad by the time the home version comes out.
This game has been in soft launch for so long that it was easy to forget that it did exist, and I’m interested to see how people take to this one. It’s being developed by Firemonkeys, the folks behind Real Racing 3 (Free), which has done quite well for EA Mobile and was an impressive technical specimen when it launched. This should appeal to a slightly different crowd that prefers street racing to the more traditional racing of Real Racing 3, but it should promise to be a gorgeous game.
