Pray to the gods of RNG, if you are believe in the power of prayer, because Hearthstone‘s (Free) new Tavern Brawl is Encounter at the Crossroads, or better named Encounter at the RNGroads. In this Tavern Brawl, you pick a class, get a randomized deck, which might include 2 or more of the same legendaries, and go play. As always, Tavern Brawl offers one classic pack for the first win, and that’s it. Now, many on reddit aren’t happy with today’s Brawl, and I’m starting to realize that most players don’t know why Blizzard went with this new mode and why Brawls like this one are precisely what this mode is about.
Hearthstone already has a draft-like mode, with Arena, a Constructed mode, with Ranked and Casual, so whatever mode Blizzard would add needed to do something different from the existing modes. That, really, leaves high-RNG modes that break the rules of the game and offer a different experience to those who don’t want to pay the entry fee to get into Arena or don’t have the cards or knowledge to build a decent deck that won’t get stomped upon every time they venture into constructed. Keeping in mind that Blizzard has to come up with new Brawls every week, RNG-heavy Brawls are the ones that can keep the mode from going stale. Instead of having to spend hours upon hours coming up with new challenges, Blizzard allows the gods of luck and randomization to do most of the heavy lifting. So, my advice is lay back and enjoy the RNG.

Angry is back? Didn't they just make multiple spin-offs? This is all they've got, just like Ubisoft and Assassins Creed along with Activision and Call of Duty since no one really buys anything else from them.
I think some one forgot to tell Rovio that their 15 minutes of fame is up. They have basically ran the franchise into the ground,,,Next!
I still don't understand how Assassins Creed could be compared to COD let alone a casual mobile game, with all the work and original content that goes into each game.
Cool
Ill at least take a peek, hoping it wont be as awful as their last f2p titles (id rather pay 1$ for the gamr than getting prompted with a bunch of timers and ammunitions and s***)
A slightly misleading title, but who can blame Rovio for milking this cash cow? And considering the market, a freemium experience wouldn't be surprising. But you never know, maybe Rovio won't neuter their flagship (only) franchise, and we'll get a premium Angry Birds experience with new mechanics that justify calling the ninth installment in a series number 2.
I don't really care for angry birds but what would perk my interest would be some kind of turn based competitive multiplayer where you try to destroy each other bases
Then they could call it Angry Worms (gets coat)
I really hope it's a premium game.... While I've got to admit I've played AB in its various iterations to death (up until Star Wars at least) and I've kind of got to the point whereby I don't need to play the more of the same again, I'm still interested to see what it's going to be like.
The new game is the soft launched Angry birds Pigstruction game in the CA appstore. Its actually quite good, you would be surprised.
I've never played this version but Angry Birds is still my favorite series on IOS. Totally pumped for July 30th!
Under Pigstruction is Angry Birds 2? Ah crap, that takes all the anticipation out of my sails if that's true.
Hope it is premium with optional IAP instead of the freemium they have continued to push out.
If this is released as a premium title I will come back to this board and eat my metaphorical hat. The Angry Birds titles, enjoyable as they are, are a mass franchise through and through. I see this being unleashed to the free to play hordes!
