You might have heard of a small Bethesda mobile game, Fallout Shelter (Free), which has taken the mobile world by storm (or by apocalyptic fallout) because of its great charm and Fallout flavor. We enjoyed it so much that we picked it for our ‘Game of the Week‘. This town management game, which has already announced its first update, has surprisingly got everyone playing, including people who don’t usually play F2P games of the Tiny Tower variety. Fallout Shelter‘s success has proved, perhaps, that those who see themselves as “hardcore" gamers and dislike most F2P titles will give such a game a chance if the theme is appropriate.

Now, Bethesda has put Fallout Shelter‘s Lunchboxes (the game’s IAP) on sale for the Fourth of July, and if you are one of the many, many gamers currently expanding their shelters, you should go grab a few of them (as you can see from the images, different territories display different sales, but the actual price of the lunchboxes appears to be the same globally). Even though they aren’t a necessity (they don’t act as extra lives or anything like that), they can make your shelter better by giving you better outfits, better weapons, and even caps (the in-game currency). So, go celebrate America by expanding your post-apocalyptic shelter.
