Back in April, Microsoft surprisingly brought its Halo: Spartan Assault ($2.99) game to iOS from Windows 8, and along with it came a sequel, Halo: Spartan Strike ($2.99). If you’ve wanted to check out the sequel, now is the time to do it, as the game is on sale for $2.99, half-off of its regular price, ahead of the July 4th holiday in the US.
This might be the way to go if you’re looking to dive into these dual-stick shooters set in the Halo universe: our Eric Ford preferred Spartan Strike to Spartan Assault. I’ve been meaning to play Spartan Assault, since I bought it on Windows 8 for really cheap a while back but never played it, and was putting off buying the bundle with the two games, or even just Spartan Strike, for a while. Or maybe I would just buy Spartan Strike on PC. I have too many games to play. I suppose with this sale, which as of writing includes just the sequel, Spartan Strike, my decision has been made for me!
