Dan FitzGerald, known for Dawn of the Plow ($1.99) and his work on the upcoming Dog Sled Saga, has a new game releasing this Thursday, June 18th: FireWhip. It’s a game where you control a giant fiery whip, and must take out the cowards that surround and attack you, completing a number of missions over time to whip with great impunity. Whip those cowards good! When you’ve whipped all the cowards you can, you can share a GIF of your triumphant whipping to Twitter or Imgur:

FireWhip has a real cool factor to it, with the music, theme, and the fact that you can whip cowardly enemies with a whip made of fire. The game’s fire-whipping mechanics are definitely going to require some practice to properly master, as you can shoot off flames and crack your firewhip. With practice, you’ll whip it like you’re in Devo, but the missions will get harder and harder as time goes on. Check this one out on Thursday when it will be a paid release.
