Everywear Games was part of the huge wave of Apple Watch launch games with their RPG Runeblade (Free) that released last month. Now, they’re ready to expand on it with the first expansion to the game, “The Desolation." Promising to double the amount of content in Runeblade, there are 200 new levels, dynamic map events, and loads of new monsters and artifacts to get in the game.

It will be interesting to see what happens with future content for games like these: there’s lots of games that got released, but will they prove to be viable enough to continue getting updates? Everywear is focusing just on smartwatch games – you can check out a black market on the iPhone client for Runeblade but all gameplay is on the Apple Watch – and it’ll be interesting to see if they can keep up with it, or if the demand for short-burst games fizzles out at some point.
