As a huge fan of Injustice: Gods Among Us (Free) on mobile, and a life-long fan of the Mortal Kombat franchise, I’ve often wished that NetherRealm Studios would finally mash-up the two and come out with a mobile fighter similar to Injustice but using the Mortal Kombat lore and characters. Well, it looks like that’s just what they’re doing! You can’t see it, but I’m doing the happy dance right now. Check out the first teaser trailer for Mortal Kombat X Mobile.
Details are super scarce so far for Mortal Kombat X Mobile, and in fact we don’t even know how similar it will be to Injustice on mobile. Given that the recently released WWE Immortals (Free) was basically an Injustice re-skin with WWE characters, I’d imagine they’re doing the same thing with Mortal Kombat X Mobile. But then again who knows! Exciting times are ahead, so once more details about Mortal Kombat X Mobile start spilling out onto the floor we’ll be sure to let you know.
