Criminel, an upcoming crime investigation mystery game taking place in 19th century Paris, has a release date: February 26th. Developed by 4PM Game, the game will be available as a universal app for $2.99. The game does promise a dark and gritty universe with a mysterious atmosphere surrounding the gruesome crimes that you investigate in the game, using 19th century tools.
Eli got to see the game in London a few weeks ago, and walked away excited about the game’s potential. Obviously, a short demo and a full game experience can often differ – Framed ($3.99) was a game I was excited for after playing a short bit of it at GDC last year, but was disappointed by the final outcome. Still, there’s plenty of reason to be optimistic about this one, it’s got an intriguing concept and a stylish theme to it. Keep an eye out for this one when it releases on the 26th.
