Cascadia Games’ ‘Ammo Pigs’ Set to Fight Robot Oppressors This Month

Cascadia Games is working on their latest game, set to release this month. If gameplay and visuals that harken back to the DOS era of gaming sounds like a real selling point, then Ammo Pigs might just be for you. Utilizing the highly-realistic premise of having highly-evolved pigs fighting sentient slaughterhouse machines in the future, all for survival. Hey, when Elon Musk is donating money to prevent the rise of killer AI, this isn’t the most outlandish premise ever.

But you can definitely expect 2D playforming action, complete with loads of ammo and guns to use, wall-jumping, boss fights, powerups, multiple characters, and all that fun stuff that makes 2D action-platformers so appealing. Cascadia’s last game, 2-Bit Cowboy ($0.99), was an interesting game where you explored expansive levels, all set to a Game Boy theme. I’m really interested to see how this one turns out, if only because heavily-armed, wall-jumping pigs fighting robot oppressors sounds like it wouldn’t be the worst game ever!
