Late last month we got official confirmation that Pixeljam Games was bringing their strange and thought-provoking platformer Potatoman Seeks The Troof to the iOS platform soon. Today, we’ve learned that “soon" means next week on January 22nd. The game has been out on desktops for a couple of years now, but just recently was revamped and released on Steam. It’s that revamped version that’ll be coming to iOS next week. You can see the game in action in the Steam launch trailer below.
If you’ve been dying to play as a starch-based humanoid going on an existential journey to find out the whole meaning of life, the universe, and potatoes, Potatoman Seeks The Troof should be right up your alley. It’s also, like, super-hard and you’ll die a lot, so there’s many valuable lessons to be learned from it. It’ll be $1.99 on launch and contain no IAP, so look for it to be available next Thursday.
