‘Space Age’ from ‘The Incident’ Developer Big Bucket Software Launching this Month

One of my all-time favorite iOS games is Big Bucket Software’s The Incident (Free), a game about a working class everyman that’s just trying to avoid getting crushed by random objects that for reasons unknown are falling from the sky. That old chestnut. All the way back in November of 2012, Big Bucket announced in our forums that their follow-up game, a retro-inspired sci-fi action/strategy/puzzle adventure called Space Age, was in the works. Needless to say, I was very excited.

Tidbits of progress have trickled into that forum thread ever since, and in August Big Bucket released this killer trailer that gives you an idea of what Space Age is all about.

It’s been a long two years since that original post in our forums, but Big Bucket has announced that Space Age is finally finished and set to launch in November. Hey, that’s this month! While Big Bucket hasn’t pegged down exactly what day in November they plan to launch the game, I’ll take what I can get, you know? I’ve been waiting a long damn time for this game, I can wait a little longer. Once we get specifics on pricing and the release of Space Age we’ll let you know, but it shouldn’t be long now folks.
