Everplay’s latest title is coming soon. After the duo of Bill Killem (Free) and Buzz Killem ($0.99), the publisher is trying out a strategy-style game with Adventure Age, planned to release this month. Players will form a team of customizable heroes, collecting loot, and attacking new territories to help in their quest to try and save the kingdom. And if that team of heroes happens to be a bunch of, say, ninja turtles, apparently that’s possible in Adventure Age.
Combat is turn-based and works in a puzzle game style, as tapping a color of blocks will do damage of that type, increased by the number of blocks in touch with that block. The game will include online elements, as there will be daily quests and bosses to fight for rewards. There will be player vs. player combat in the Arena against other people’s teams, and a social aspect where friends can help out in battles. As well, three different houses can be joined, with entrance to a “Super Dungeon" for those winning in the Arena.
The game’s intended to be free-to-play, and will boast the pixel art style that many of Everplay and developer Cookiebit’s games are known for. The game’s coming this month, and a soft launch is planned for the game in Canada, but it’s not out quite yet, but keep an eye on our forums for info on when it launches.
