Rovio is on the verge of releasing a new wing (HEH.) in to Angry Birds universe. They’ve been teasing it on Twitter forever now, but Angry Birds Stella finally has a launch date of September 4th. Here’s the trailer, which features no gameplay, but instead just some pretty rad animation of the cast of characters:
There’s also videos revealing the birds in the game themselves, including Stella, Gale, and Luca. It’s really cool to see an Angry Birds game that’s packed to the brim with female protagonists, but I’m anxious to see if it plays any different from the previous Angry Birds games. On one hand, it’s a formula that’s proven to be popular worldwide, but games like Bad Piggies (Free) mixing things up significantly were awesome as well.
I guess we’ll just have to wait until September 4th.
