TA Plays Live: Flappy Birdcast Game Request Streaming [Offline]

TouchArcade Rating:

It’s just about dinner time for people here in the good ol’ American central time zone, which means the perfect time to end my day with some iOS game streaming. Flappy Bird (Free) just isn’t going away, so I’m deciding to embrace what seems to simultaneously somehow be the best and absolute worst game on the App Store. I don’t get it, but it seems I can’t stop playing it. So, thanks a lot.

Anyway, there’s a couple different ways to to watch me stream: First, just scroll down to the embedded video and chat below. Second, watch direct on Twitch by mashing this link, or last, but certainly not least, watch on your iOS device. To do that, download the Twitch.TV app (Free) and either hit this link on your device or simply search for the channel TouchArcade.

I usually stream until around 7:00 Eastern, at which point I toss the videos up on YouTube for everyone to see that missed the stream. Feel free to request games in chat, but if you’re the developer of a game you’re requesting, please identify yourself that way. Thanks in advance!

Update: Thanks for watching, everyone! Here’s the games we played-

The video below should work as soon as YouTube finishes processing it!

      Awesome game :)

Very fair review, while this is a decent TD game, it's also a very standard TD game with nothing new or exciting added. It's basically Tower Madness with a facelift, and doesn't do anything to stand out from the overcrowded TD genre.

Good points in the review and comments. Which make me decide that I'd probably enjoy it a bit, but not $5 or even $3 worth. That's what I pay for the 'premium' TD games like Pirate Legends or Kingdom Rush.

Hey Eric - Overall I think this is a pretty fair review but I'm curious if you played any maps using Invasion mode? (It's activated by touching the star on the lower right hand corner of the tower selection screen.) Invasion mode makes the game much harder (imo) and grants the player and additional star along with a greater amount of wool.

At first I was a bit turned off by the pricing of items like extra tower slots, but it seems like they pushed out a pricing update and now items are actually affordable without having to grind endless levels. Limbic is a clearly listening to their fans to fine tune the game. It's much appreciated and a sign of a good developer.

I love tower madness. It arguably my favorite TD. I expect they will be putting out many level packs like they did the first one. Highly recommended.

I forgot even on their expert mode the difficulty level is easier than the first

I get that there are probably better TDs but can someone do a list so I can make sure I havent missed any? I have Bloons, PvZ, Fieldrunners, Pirate, Anomaly, etc
