A couple of days ago, we detailed the brand new update for Noodlecake’s Super Stickman Golf 2 ($0.99), and also mentioned that along with the new update the game would be dropping to free for a limited time. Well, consider this your official notice: as of right now, Super Stickman Golf 2 is available for free in the App Store. This is the first time the game has been free since launching in March of last year, and the latest update includes all sorts of cool stuff like new courses, new multiplayer options and more. Here’s a glimpse at one of the new courses which is based on Team Meat’s popular platformer Super Meat Boy.
If this is the first you’ve heard of the Super Stickman Golf series, you’re missing out. At its hear it’s a physics puzzler based loosely around the rules of golf. You’re trying to get your ball in each hole in as few attempts as possible, while negotiating the crazy environments of each course. It’s a stellar single-player experience, but Super Stickman Golf 2 really shines as a multiplayer game. You can play turn-based as you might expect a golfing game to be played, but the real-time multiplayer where you’re racing against ghosts of up to three other players online (or seven locally) vying to be first to get your ball in the cup is some of the most manic fun you can have on mobile. Trust me, take Super Stickman Golf 2 for a spin while it’s free, you won’t be disappointed.
