While every other developer out there seems to be avoiding this Wednesday like the plague thanks to the release of Infinity Blade III ($6.99), Gaming Corps is taking the honey badger approach and releasing Riddick: The Merc Files today anyway.

Normally I’d say the normal movie game caveat likely applies here, but Riddick games historically have actually been pretty good. We’ll have to wait until 11:00 PM Eastern tonight for this game to hit the US App Store to see whether or not The Merc Files can continue the Riddick legacy.
