Everyone loves LEGO, right? Well, aside from the iconic building blocks themselves, there is an entire universe that has sprung up around the tiny people that inhabit them–the minifigures. Today developer Funcom has announced that an online adventure game featuring a cast of crazy characters–including a spaceman, a DJ, and a… farting figure skater–will be coming together in LEGO Minifigures Online for iOS, Android and PC. If you were one of the many folks who enjoyed the Lego Universe MMO that launched a few years back before being uncerimoniously shut down last year, this looks like it’s along those same lines. I never played Lego Universe myself, but I love LEGO and the many characters that accompany them, so I’m pretty stoked to check out LEGO Minifigures Online. Unfotunately it’s a ways off as Funcom expect the game to hit in the second half of 2014, but we’ll keep our eye out for more details as they hit.
