Earlier this afternoon, Jared and I peeped Hanger [99¢]. It’s a physics-based swinging game that has you flinging an avatar around in increasingly claustrophobic settings like, say, caves and psychedelic train tunnels. Maybe it’s just us, but we’re thinking that this game’s most impressive constituent part is its zany art direction. But it also has this radical limb mechanic: when you crash into something, the limbs that make contact fly off. Think Soldier of Fortune, except less In Your Face, Bro.
Hanger is a port of a flash game that apparently is a big deal in that space. Just from eyeballing, you won’t be able to figure that out. This thing runs, and plays, that well. Anyway, take a look at the game just below. We’re thinking you’ll dig, too.
